I have been made aware of this amplifier (on another forum) and wondered if there were any comments about it ?

A Nice simple circuit, are the FET's still available?
That site is very good for lots of stuff.

I like the current mirror Q5 & Q6. Feel however a smidgeon of emitter resistors are required to compensate for unequal device matching, unless Q5 & Q6 are on a chip. (?)

I have often seen this kind of current mirror in IC schematics.

The current mirror is pretty common in SS high-end amps - Doug Self uses a similar scheme in his "Blameless" series of designs...
