Wish I could see the videos even tho I haven't a clue what they are.
Philosophers have only interpreted the world - the point, however, is to change it. No it isn't ... maybe we should leave it alone for a while.

Blue train - John Coltrane. On the jvc, now with the at150sa on it but in the jelco headshell instead of the jvc one. the robot arm seems to like the jelco headshell better

Tom petty full moon fever, just had jimi hendrix - hendrix in the West. Both on vinyl borrowed of the missus' dad.
The hendrix is a brilliant record, I shall have to buy it
Edit: in the West is being re released on 17th October as a double lp, i'll hang fire and buy a new copy when it drops

'Full Moon Fever' was one of our few 'Total Workshop Agreement' albums (that meant it was universally loved). We even had the backing vocals off-pat too

Traffic,
John Barleycorn Must Die
The Low Spark of High Heeled Boys.
First time I've heard either of these albums. Great stuff. I completely missed out first time round, too young in 1970 and '71. I was only 12-13 and no older brother/sister to educate me away from Hurricane Smith and Gilbert O Sullivan.

Steve n'Seagulls (SWTDT) - "Thunderstruck" cover (AC/DC)
Was listening to these madmen in a bit of a haze last night... they're actually pretty good... and great fun (in a redneck Finnish kinda way).
