'The Soft Machine' (1) has been on mega-rotation this weekend here. It's flippin' brwillyant innit. Only taken us (Me + JTS) about 30yrs to 'get it'..... had it on Cassette and it was an 'ok.... its another Canterbury band... its OK...' then hadn't really listened to it in detail that much until last week spurred on by this thread.

Its currently Sync-playing on 2 SB Radio's and my Touch in the project room.

Bit late to the show aren't we... :)

You arrived fashionably late, Dave 8)

I'd like to have your opinion about what Robert Wyatt is doing on percussion during 'Why are we sleeping' - as I was talking to Nick about this yesterday in Manchester .

It's a bit early in the year for caravan. Might use it when it gets a bit warmer.

Nice, only got 'In the land of Grey and Pink' on digital but its brought back a lot of memories from being at college and a mate called Steve. He had it on LP did me a cassette of it and Cunning Stunts too.

Staying in a Caravan this time of year might give you a nasty case of the Snow Goose.

Mr. TheBass !.... I just got one of the standard textbooks you suggested -
so that I can do some of the more difficult coursework you've been setting .
