Another project to add to the too many I have on the go. This will be able to supply balanced, unregulated voltages up to 75VDC for power amp prototyping. The xformer has a 550VA rating. The front panel will be decorated with led meters for volts and amps on each DC supply and one for the xformer primary current so I don't kill the variac. Today I have been playing with an LEM current transducer which will be used to measure the primary current. Will probably add another low current balanced supply which can sit on top of the main supply to power the front end of a power amp.Suggestions for improvements and added features as well as urine extraction gratefully received. :D

Nice idea. Much better than the usual lash-up I put together for just the same thing.
