If I remember the max dissipation of the series mosfet was the only limit, so its down to heatsink size, and if needed a higher power mosfet. I would have though tens of amps was possible given the right device.

Yep, the voltage on the cathode is set by the first valves anode, so pick a cathode resistor to give you the current you want.

Why not double it, that will half the current so you can use a single one of those chokes.

Maybe the point in being a geek would be to get stuff like the much hyped and incredibly expensive NHS information system to actually do what it is supposed to do. The first problem is normally getting someone to write down what the thing is actually meant to do. Though when thats delivered it turn...

Mi dad might be getting a bit excitable but I can assure everyone that what he's saying about being laughed at in PC World is perfectly true. Funny really, (not the getting laughed at bit). I would normally sooner stick a pencil in my eye than use PcWorld, but I found myself a few weekends ago need...

The Mac changed the face of computing 25 years ago But I just dont think it did, though Apple would like us to believe it did, and I am sure Steve Jobs believes he has. It may have affected the complexion of the face of a proportion of desktop computer users, but thats far from all of computing. I ...

The gaps between the lines should be even, preferably
Mike knows this, but just to add "should be even" when drawn along the load line.

I am not entirely sure what load line you have in mind from the graph.

What B+ do you have to start with?

From what I can ascertain both Apple & Microsoft are as bad as each other when it comes to digital rights management and to single out respective company heads and bash them is to my mind puerile. They both be bad/good depending from which angle you aproach. Yes, but Apple are much better at a ...

Ah but you know about computers Nick, so people in your field of work have an excuse. Ok, but it also sort of makes our opinion valid as well. Just because it all seems fine now, doesn't mean that in five years time you will look up from your iDesk, and find that the embedded iMind you have had fit...

But
Just because I have problem with apple doesn't make me a fan of monkey boy Balmer Smile
Goes for the OS as well.

I would try adding a 0.47uf before the choke and see what it does, if not enough try a 1u. Dont worry about the 120k to 135k If the anode voltage is right, then I would leave it there. If you prefer a 120k, then tweek the cathode resistor a little, but in terms of op points, don't worry, this is not...

It wouldnt be my choice, looks like loads and loads of 2nd harmonic. Maybe you will get away with it in push pull. not that linear a valve from those lines.
