Looking at the logs, the script used the member list page to get all the id's then tried to post a message to each of the id's. why should they be any different when faced with fixed or cathode bias. I would suggest because the different type of bias tent to also mean other changes are made to the circuit around the valve. For example cathode bias is normally bypassed with a cap, this adds a time constant to the bias, fixed...
