The large trafo is the mains jobbie - custom wound by Majestic (high quality, reasonable prices!) The 8K output trafo is Sowter. I'd use 5k or 6.6k for 2A3s, too. I never took readings or worked out what the cathode resistor 'should' be. I was guessing because my understanding is that for 45SE it is...
